@ Sneaker Con Convention

Last week, @FameAppeal tweeted out many pictures from a convention. The name of the particular convention that FameAppeal attended was the Sneaker Con Convention in Soho, New York City. One of FameAppeal’s associates was in attendance, while representing a new and up-and-coming brand, Chivalrous Culture, a brand that “mixes elements of refined style and represents them from the runway to the streets.” It was the first time Fame Appeal attended the Sneaker Con convention, but it was well worth it.

Fame Politics O’Donnell v. Coons Debate

By no means is Fame Appeal a political blog, nor do we intend to get political. However, today, I witnessed something a little out of the ordinary, a Delaware Senate debate at Widener University School of Law in Wilmington Delaware. It was the Republican Party represented by Christine O’Donnell and the Democrats represented by Chris Coons. Christine O’Donnell accused Chris Coons of not being educated in constitutional law. Microsoft Continues Intellectual Property Education

Counsel for Microsofts IP policy in China, Mark Cohen (featured above) captured the audiences attention with advice for lawyers when dealing with international IP issues. The IP production in China is sky rocketing, at the same time there is a strong political stronghold on IP policy. For example, in order to protect economic growth, the Chinese judicial system offers a  “rocket docket” policy where parties must have a result from the judicial system within 6 months!!! (While in America litigation can last years hindering profits). Speaker Sonia Baldia added that the Indian …

FBH – Philadelphia Fashion Week Fall 2010

Jumping out of a taxi, I see one model after another walking towards a tall unnamed brick building.  Am I in the right spot, little did I know that in this weathered commercial space, serious professional activities were taking place.  I interviewed two budding entrepreneurs in their 20′s who dream of taking their unique take on fashion to the runways across the world. Kevin Parker (co-founder of FBH) and Sherwin Raven (publicist) candidly talked to me about FBH modeling agency and their presentation of Philly Fashion Week Fall 2010.
What is Philadelphia Fashion …
